Handbag Clinic is the original Handbag Restoration company that have branched out of their restoration roots to become a leader in handbag focused suitable fashion. We buy, sell and restore designer handbags, restoring over 700 bags each month including some of the most expensive handbags in the world. Along side buying and selling over £6M of designer handbags across our stores and eCommerce website since launching the service in 2016.

Working with some of the leading fashion houses and prestigious auction houses as well as being recommended by Vouge, Tatler, Cosmopolitan, Vanity Fair and Grazia, we are looking for strong candidates to join our dynamic London based team working in the heart of Chelsea.

During the Pandemic we have been fortunate to see growth with in our business, opening new concessions and growing sales. For the right candidate future career development options include (but are not limited to), specialising in authentication /buying, retail management, business development and key partner engagement.

Full Time opportunity available (40 hour contract)

We are a growing team, specialising in the luxury sector and are looking to expand our team of experts and nurture the next generation, to ensure we maintain our status as the formative voice for sustainable luxury.

WHAT WE DO

As our name suggests, we specialise in handbags! Offering in house Restoration to luxury fashion accessories and also a pre-owned sale platform, we are unique in that we offer both of these flourishing services under one market leading brand.

Our amazing team of Artisans use their profound skills to transform some of the most damaged bags but also purses, jackets, shoes and even leather Backgammon boards! Handbag Clinic has been an established name in sustainable fashion for over 7 years and as we continue to grow, we are looking to recruit a new Assistant Manager within our Flagship Store on the Kings Road in Chelsea, London.

JOB ROLE

This position will focus on the heart of our brand’s main objective; offering great tailored Customer Service.

  • Maximise turnover to exceed required targets and identify opportunities to continually improve performance
  • Manage and motivate the performance of the team to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded
  • In store customer consultations advising clients on Restoration, Selling of their item, the purchase of a preowned designer item and authenticity.
  • Sales of both restoration services and our range of preowned designer handbags
  • Providing high standards of customer service
  • Manage the presentation and merchandising of stock in line with company standards
  • Support administrative duties such as reporting and communicating with the store team and HQ
  • Responding to online queries and quotations.
  • Logistics to our HQ or direct to clients

REQUIREMENTS

We are a vibrant team, building a progressive environment that encourages creativity, inclusivity, and a strong sense of community.

We appreciate the bespoke nature of our work, so we don’t expect you to have experience within the luxury sector or restoring leather.

However, for this role, applicants will only be accepted who are educated to A-Level or equivalent and have very strong verbal and written skills. The right candidate should have experience in a Retail Management, should be proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office packages and have the drive, passion and determination to succeed. You will need to be flexible in the week and will be required to work some Saturdays and Sundays.
