Micro bags make up for the lack of practically by being the most stylish accessory of 2024. These tastefully tiny bags were seen everywhere for SS24 and there is no denying that they are on the top of our wishlist right now.

On the opposite side of the spectrum to our playful micro bags we have utility style showing up everywhere! Think pockets, straps and compartments. This is a dream for all of you out there who love to be organised… just think you will never waste a moment looking for anything at the bottom of your bag ever again.

Primary Bolds - what colours are we wearing this spring?

These colours may remind you of the Primary colour wheel but they are anything but basic. This season is all about bold colours and using them in dynamic ways to express yourself. Adding a pop of colour through your bag is our favourite way to transform any outfit.

An unlikely yet perfect match; Across the runway we saw designers pair red and blue together to create statement looks. This use of colour blocking is a playful element we can all add into our outfits.

Feeling Blue

You will feel anything but blue wearing the new colour of the season, in soothing and electric shades there is a hue of blue made perfectly for you. According to TagWalk blue looks were up 19% this season, showing us how big this colour is expected to be.

Blue has big boots to fill following on from everyone's favourite colour red. Although it seems like blue is teaming up with red to give us the coolest colour-blocking outfits for Spring, Fendi led the way for colour blocking.

Red Reigns Supreme

Red has been spicing up our wardrobes for months now and it seems it is not willing to give up its throne. This spring expect to see bold and deep reds popping up all over, we can thank Gucci’s Sabato De Sarno for introducing the rich new hue ‘Gucci Rosso’ into our lives.

Red is one of those colours which can effortlessly be worn season to season and we don’t see red bags going out of style anytime soon (if ever), and this is why red bags are at the top of our wishlists and should be at the top of yours too.

Need more space?

If micro bags aren’t your thing then this just might be. With a season filled with so many extremes there is no surprise that oversized bags have arrived to rival our micro bags.

We love oversized bags because who doesn’t need a bag which can carry absolutely anything and everything (Including all of our mini bags). This style is fabulous and practical, what more could you ask for?

Denim is always the answer

Does denim ever go out of style? We think not. But this season denim is very much IN. Perhaps it's something to do with the fact that blue is the colour of the season or simply because we’re completely obsessed with denim.

It’s time to take your denim looks to the next level… Adding a denim bag is an unexpected way to elevate any denim outfit. We have no doubt a denim bag will stand the test of time much like all of our favourite timeless denim pieces.

The decorated bag club

This may be the funnest trend to embrace this spring…it’s time to get creative and add some personality into your bag, because… life is too short not to decorate your bag.

This trend is a nostalgic nod to the iconic way Jane Birkin wore her Birkin’s, adding stickers, trinkets and even a watch around it.
