HISTORY:

The classic Gucci Marmont is crafted of matelassé chevron leather and features the new ‘GG’ logo in antique brass hardware.

The new ‘GG’ logo was originally released on the Marmont belt in 2015; a year before the new creative director, Alessandro Michele, launched the Marmont handbag collection in 2016. Michele was inspired by a buckle the fashion house created back in the 1970s, choosing to reposition the G’s so they both faced the same way and overlapped.
